Pinhole photography is a growing area of interest. It's simplicity fascinates people -- cameras can be as simple as a box or can, loaded with film or photographic paper. These photographs were made with a camera constructed from a 6x9 camera back taped to a cardboard box. The "lens" is the bottom of a pie plate with a pinhole drilled in it. The advantage of this camera over others is that it can be reloaded outside of the darkroom, and it takes standard 120mm film (8 images per roll). Exposure times range from a few seconds (in bright daylight), to several minutes (indoors or in the shade).
