More Pinhole Images

Door, 1997

Fifth Avenue Boot, 1998

The vertical image was also taken with the 6x9 back/cardboard box camera.  I don't often take vertical photos with the camera because it doesn't have a flat surface to rest it on, and when I made it I didn't put a tripod mount on the camera -- so I have to find things to lean or prop it against to take pictures.

The photograph, "Fifth Avenue Boot," was taken with a pinhole box camera made from cardboard and black tape.  A standard 4x5 film holder fits into the camera and a small piece of cardboard is moved away from the pinhole to make the exposure.
