This photograph was taken on the beach in Grand Haven, MIchigan -- at a Great Lakes Lifeboat Station.  It was a bright day so I used the camera's fastest shutter speed (1/400).  The aperture is fixed at f5.  The film used was Kodak Tri-X 400.  This scan is from a 13 1/2" wide enlargement.
