Cameras & Images

I usually refer to myself as a "camera-user" rather than a camera collector.  Recent visits to my attic camera closet make it difficult to maintain this distinction.  As a result, I am going to describe myself as a collector who uses his cameras.

This series of pages shows examples of some of the photographs I have taken -- along with brief descriptions of the cameras used.

Banier
My Banier is a "Diana-clone" -- one of many copies of the Diana, manufactured in Hong Kong.  Although referred to by many as a toy camera, there is growing interest in the use of these cameras.

Pinhole Cameras
Pinhole, or lens-less photography is an old technique that many people associate with school and science projects.  There is a growing interest in pinhole photography as an art form.

Panoramic Cameras
Panoramic cameras come in many shapes and sizes.  This is a review of three "swing-lens" panoramic cameras.

Brownie Holiday
This is a fun camera to use when you want to get away from the technical demands of photography.  It's just click and wind.
